The STREAMS microbiome guidelines for environmental, non-human host-associated, and synthetic microbiome research were drafted during the Microbiome Data Management in Action workshop in 2024. The STREAMS consortium currently contains almost 250 researchers and we are continuously obtaining community feedback. Our key contributors are shown below.
